PRESENTATION

WebMedia is an annual event promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), and it is the most important forum for researchers and professionals in Multimedia, Hypermedia and Web areas in Brazil. In its 15th edition WebMedia aims to join researchers, students and practitioners, from Brazil and abroad, for discussing problems related to the Symposium topics.

FULL AND SHORT PAPERS

Authors are cordially invited to submit research papers representing original, previously unpublished work. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format and comply with the ACM format (http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates). Authors must make use of the JEMS/SBC system (https://submissoes.sbc.org.br) for all submissions. Papers can be written in either English or Portuguese. At least one author per paper is required to register and attend the conference to present the paper if accepted for publication. The accepted full papers for WebMedia 2009 will be published by ACM/DL. Full-Papers (up to eight pages) should report on substantial research supported by complete results. Short-Papers (up to 4 pages) should describe ongoing work and contain partial results.
In this WebMedia edition the best papers will be published by the JCBS Journal (Journal of the Brazilian Computer Society).
