You are kindly invited to attend WebMedia 2009 to be held at Fortaleza, major city of Ceará, one of the most beautiful states of Northeast of Brazil. The Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) annually promotes several national symposia in diverse computer science fields. Since its first edition, in 1995, WebMedia has become the most important Brazilian forum for researchers and professionals in the areas of Multimedia, Hypermedia and the Web.
In 2009, in its fifteenth edition, WebMedia is being organized in conjunction with the Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems (SBSC), the Brazilian Symposium on Databases and the Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering (SBES). Graded "A" by CAPES evaluation, Webmedia has been recognized by its high quality of accepted papers, co-located workshops, invited talks and tutorials, which were delivered by internationally acknowledged researchers.
The WebMedia 2009 Symposium will have several activities, including: - Full and Short paper Sessions;
- Workshop on Tools and Applications;
- Workshop on ongoing thesis and dissertations;
- Workshop on undergraduate research;
- Workshop on Business Process Management;
- and Tutorials.
Since 2007, full and short papers have been published at ACM Digital Library, and this year, the program committee will select best full papers to be extended and published at the JBCS (Journal of the Brazilian Computer Society).
