With it, they aim to bring together world-class research that addresses, with a high standard of quality, issues relevant to open education and Brazilian distance in order to effectively contribute to the advancement of international knowledge about the themes and their impact on Brazilian practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Considering the transdisciplinary nature of the phenomena of open and distance education, the two scientific societies understand that collaboration between researchers from related communities progressively improve research on aspects related to technology-mediated
