During the 17th IFIP TC.13 International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (INTERACT 2019), 2 – 6 September, in Cyprus, Professor Simone Diniz Junqueira Barbosa, from PUC-Rio, has been awarded the title of IFIP TC13 Pionner in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the educational, theoretical, technical, commercial or professional aspects of analysis, design, construction, evaluation and use of interactive systems.

The INTERACT is one of the most important conferences in HCI.
