The <a href="http://www.sbc.org.br/">Brazilian Computer Society (SBC)</a> annually promotes several national symposia in diverse computer science fields. Since its first edition, in 1995, WebMedia has become the most important Brazilian forum for researchers and professionals in the areas of Multimedia, Hypermedia and the Web.<br /><br />In 2009, in its fifteenth edition, WebMedia is being organized in conjunction with the <a href="http://www.sbc.org.br/sbsc/2009/" target="_blank">Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems (SBSC)</a>, the <a href="http://www.sbbd-sbes2009.ufc.br/" target="_blank">Brazilian Symposium on Databases</a> and the <a href="http://www.sbbd-sbes2009.ufc.br/" target="_blank">Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering (SBES)</a>.
