III Workshop on Multimedia and Hypermedia Systems (WoMH'97)

Introduction

The Workshop on Multimedia and Hypermedia Systems has become an anual event promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and is the main forum in South America for the presentation and discussion of the latest results in theory, systems and applications of multimedia and hypermedia technology as well as human-computer interaction. For the second time the workshop will be associated with the Brazilian Conference on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC), to take place in the city of Sao Carlos.

Contributions

Authors were invited to submit papers reporting original, finished and ongoing, research related to all aspects of Multimedia and Hypermedia Systems. Accepted papers will appear in the Workshop Proceedings.
A total of 54 papers from 20+ instituitions from Brazil & Latin America were submited; the papers report ongoing work in the areas of interest which include, but are not limited to, the following:
