CEIHC > News Posts > Result of the CEIHC Logo Contest

The Special Commission on Human-Computer Interaction makes public the result of the CEIHC Logo Contest. We received 10 proposals from the following states: Alagoas, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro and Roraima. Two of the professors from the Social Communication area (UFC and UFMT) and two professors from CEIHC (PUCRS and UFAM) participated in the Evaluation Committee.

The dispute was fierce because, after calculating the averages, we had a tie of two proposals in the first place, which obtained 82.50 points (maximum of 100). The decision on the winning proposal was taken from a vote among the members of CEIHC, totaling 5 votes against 1.

We are therefore pleased to announce that the champion logo was proposed by Ewerton Dias Leal Pereira, from Olinda-PE.

The logo will be incorporated into the CEIHC website and other publications and placements and will be officially launched during IHC’2018, which will take place from October 22 to 26 in Belém-PA. The champion will be awarded R $ 1500.00, registration at the event and the opportunity to present their work at the event, during the IHC Community Meeting.

We thank all the proponents and congratulate the author of the winning proposal.
